Cimmerian Hollyhock
Cimmerian Hollyhock (#781905) is a deep red with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. From the Cimmerians of Homer's Odyssey — a legendary people who dwelled at the western edge of the world in perpetual darkness. Alcea rosea, the tall biennial of European cottage gardens whose red, pink, and white flowers spire above the garden in late summer.
