Vibrant Comfrey
Vibrant Comfrey (#6FAD00) is a deep lime with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (82°, 100%, 34%) places it in the highly saturated band at a dark lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. From the Latin vibrare, to shake — used as a color word since the seventeenth century for hues that read as alive and resonant. Symphytum officinale, the European medicinal plant whose green leaves and root were used in traditional European bone-setting and wound treatment — also known as boneset or knitbone. Comfrey color refers to fresh comfrey leaves on a hedge bank: a soft, slightly muted gray-green with the matte finish of pubescent leaf surface. Cooler than nettle.
