Wired Choy
Wired Choy (#6BB102) is a true lime with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (84°, 98%, 35%) places it in the highly saturated band at a mid lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Etymology
Old English wīr, wire — past-participle of wire. As a color modifier, wired implies a saturated-and-electrical-charged-and-active quality, the bright color of Tesla-coil-and-Van-de-Graaff high-voltage atmospheric-electrical emission. Sits at the bright-and-active end of the grid, parallel to charged and electrified in usage.
The Cantonese family of brassica greens — bok choy (white-stem), choy sum (flowering choy), gai lan (Chinese broccoli). Choy color refers to fresh bok choy leaves: a saturated, slightly cool yellow-green with the satin finish of fresh brassica. Cooler than spinach.
