Acidic Pistachio

Etymology
Latin acidus, sour — adjectival suffix -ic, sharing root with acetic and acerbic. Pistacia vera, the desert tree from western Asia whose green nut has been a delicacy in Iranian and Levantine cooking for at least three thousand years.
