Lordly Auvergne (#5D820F) is a deep lime with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Old English hlāford-līc, lord-like — adjectival suffix -ly. Sits at the bold-and-aristocratic end of the grid, parallel to princely and patrician.
