Hardy Karakoram
Hardy Karakoram (#5149F5) is a true blue with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. Old French hardi, bold / brave — past-participle of hardir (to make brave). Karakoram color refers to an unworked Sar-e-Sang lapis-lazuli boulder freshly extracted from the Karakoram foothills: a saturated, slightly cool deep blue-violet with the matte finish of pyrite-flecked lazurite ore on rough fracture surface.
