Reinforced Wakana
Reinforced Wakana (#3A9201) is a deep lime with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Latin re- plus inforce — past-participle of reinforce. Japanese for young greens — the soft yellow-green of early-spring foraged plants used in the nanakusa-no-sekku (seven-herb festival) on January 7. The color refers to a fresh wakana sprig in a winter Kyoto garden: a soft, slightly muted yellow-green with the matte finish of small early-season leaves.
