Reinforced Aloe
Reinforced Aloe (#398D00) is a deep lime with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (96°, 100%, 28%) places it in the highly saturated band at a dark lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. For a confident two-color system, pair it with its complementary indigo. For something softer, pull in its analogous neighbors on either side of the wheel.

Latin re- plus inforce — past-participle of reinforce. As a color modifier, reinforced implies a saturated-and-doubled-up-and-strengthened quality where the hue carries layered pigmentation for maximum visual presence. Aloe vera, the succulent whose translucent inner leaf gel has been used as a cosmetic and medicinal salve since classical antiquity. The color refers to a fresh aloe leaf in cross-section: a soft, slightly cool yellow-green with the satin finish of succulent leaf-tissue.
