Ironed Polar
Ironed Polar (#37C1EC) is a true cyan with a vibrant character. It holds its own as a focal accent, carrying visual weight without tipping into neon territory. Old English īsern, iron — past-participle of iron. Sits at the crisp-and-finished end of the grid, parallel to pressed and starched in usage.
Of the polar — the ice caps and the meltwater seas at the high latitudes. The color refers to polar sea ice on a clear day at the height of summer melt: a soft, slightly green-shifted very pale blue with the optical brightness of bubble-rich ice.
