Tenacious Anhydrite (#3688F8) is a true azure with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. A calcium sulfate mineral — the anhydrous form of gypsum — sometimes occurring in saturated deep-blue varieties known as Angelite or Blue Anhydrite. Mined principally in Peru. The color refers to a polished blue anhydrite cabochon: a saturated, slightly cool deep blue with the matte finish of opaque sulfate mineral.
