Electrifying Fiji (#26EDA3) is a true teal with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Greek ēléktron, amber — present-participle of electrify, named after the static-electricity property of rubbed amber. As a color modifier, electrifying implies a saturated-and-shocking-and-active quality, the bright color of Tesla-coil high-voltage atmospheric-discharge emission. Sits at the bright-and-active end of the grid, parallel to charged and neon in usage.
The Melanesian archipelago — and the saturated turquoise of Fijian lagoons surrounding the Yasawa and Mamanuca island groups. Fiji refers to a Fijian lagoon at high tide: a saturated, slightly cool deep blue-green with the optical clarity of warm South Pacific water.
