Composed Beech
Composed Beech (#1C7D03) is a deep green with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (108°, 95%, 25%) places it in the highly saturated band at a dark lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. The past participle of compose, to arrange together — used as a color modifier for hues that read as deliberate and balanced. The genus Fagus — particularly F. sylvatica, the European beech — a deciduous tree whose smooth gray bark and golden-green spring foliage define European temperate woodland.
