Engraved Akhdar
Engraved Akhdar (#178350) is a deep teal with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Old French engraver, to dig in — past-participle of engrave. The Arabic word for green — used for the deep green of the Khidr (the Green One) in Islamic mysticism, the green domes of mosques, and the Jabal al-Akhdar (Green Mountain) of Oman. The color refers to a Saudi mosque-dome glaze: a saturated, slightly cool deep green with the high gloss of fired ceramic glaze.
