Engraved Oolong
Engraved Oolong (#0BBBBD) is a true cyan with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Old French engraver, to dig in — past-participle of engrave. The partially-oxidized Chinese tea — qīng-chá (cyan tea) — with the deep blue-green liquor distinct from green tea (lower oxidation) and black tea (higher oxidation). The color refers to fresh-brewed Tieguanyin oolong: a saturated, slightly cool deep blue-green with the optical depth of partially-fermented tea liquor.
