Native Pleonaste
Native Pleonaste (#080015) is a deep indigo with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (263°, 100%, 4%) places it in the highly saturated band at a dark lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Latin nātīvus, born / natural — adjectival suffix -ive. Pleonaste color refers to a freshly cleaved Vesuvius pleonaste octahedral crystal face: a saturated, slightly cool deep black with the glassy finish of cubic-system magnesium-iron-aluminum-oxide. The Greek genus name pleonasmós (excess) refers to its many cleavage-faces.
