Holographic Bancha (#03E2B0) is a true teal with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Greek hólos (whole) and graphé (writing) — adjectival suffix -ic. Sits at the bright-and-shifting end of the grid, parallel to iridescent and prismatic in usage.
The Japanese green tea made from later-season Camellia sinensis leaves — milder than sencha, lower in caffeine, and traditionally drunk with meals across rural Japan. The color refers to fresh-brewed bancha: a soft, slightly cool deep blue-green with the optical clarity of late-season green-tea liquor.
