Prismatic Acquerello
Prismatic Acquerello (#01C07C) is a true teal with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (159°, 99%, 38%) places it in the highly saturated band at a mid lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Greek prísma, prism — adjectival suffix -ic. As a color modifier, prismatic implies a saturated-and-multi-spectrum-decomposed quality, the bright color of crystal-prism and cut-glass-chandelier light-refraction-spectrum decomposition. The Italian word for watercolor — used for the soft, washed-out blue-greens characteristic of Italian Renaissance watercolor underpainting. Acquerello color refers to a watercolor wash on damp paper: a soft, slightly cool pale blue-green with the translucent finish of pigment-and-water on rag paper.
