Inflamed Uvarovite
Inflamed Uvarovite (#01BA32) is a true green with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (136°, 99%, 37%) places it in the highly saturated band at a mid lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Etymology
Latin inflammātus, set on fire — past-participle of inflame. As a color modifier, inflamed implies a saturated-and-irritated-hot quality, the bright color of sun-burnt-skin and autumn-leaf high-anthocyanin pigmentation. Sits at the bright-and-warm end of the grid, parallel to fiery and flaming in usage.
A chromium-rich green garnet — mined principally in the Russian Urals, Finland, and Quebec. Named for Russian Count Sergei Semenovich Uvarov. The color refers to drusy uvarovite crystals on chromite matrix: a saturated, slightly cool deep emerald-green with the gem's signature internal fire.
