Artisanal Ilmenite
Artisanal Ilmenite (#000117) is a deep blue with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (237°, 100%, 5%) places it in the highly saturated band at a dark lightness. Ilmenite color refers to a freshly cleaved Allard Lake ilmenite ore-block face: a saturated, slightly cool deep black with the metallic finish of trigonal-system iron-titanium-oxide. The principal source of titanium dioxide white pigment.
