Aglow Chá
Aglow Chá (#FEA850) is a true orange with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. Its HSL profile (30°, 99%, 65%) places it in the highly saturated band at a mid lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Etymology
Old English on-glōwan, on-glow — sharing root with glow and gleam. As a color modifier, aglow implies a saturated-and-lit-from-within quality, the bright color of fireplace-and-jack-o-lantern interior-glow-lit warm-light emission against ambient darkness. Sits at the bright-and-warm end of the grid, parallel to glowing and aflame in usage.
The Chinese word for tea — used as a color word for the warm brown of brewed tea liquor and the wood of chá-jī (tea tables). The color refers to fresh-brewed Pu-erh tea in a porcelain cup: a soft, slightly cool deep brown with the optical depth of well-fermented tea. Cooler than caramel, drier than mahogany.
