Cleansed Carnelian
Cleansed Carnelian (#FDA2A6) is a soft red with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. A translucent variety of chalcedony tinted by trace iron, carnelian was the seal stone of the ancient world — Roman intaglios, Indus Valley etched beads, the breastplate of the Israelite high priest.
