Acidic Stola
Acidic Stola (#EA9BF4) is a soft violet with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Latin acidus, sour — adjectival suffix -ic, sharing root with acetic and acerbic. As a color modifier, acidic implies a saturated-and-citric-and-sour quality, the bright color of lime-zest-and-pickled-lime citrus-fruit pulp surface. Stola color refers to an imperial Roman Livia-period stola: a saturated, slightly cool deep violet with the matte finish of multi-bath Tyrian shellfish-dye on Roman wool.
