Squared Nineveh (#E1BEFD) is a soft indigo with a pastel character. It reads calm and airy, with enough chroma to feel intentional rather than washed out. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Latin quadrātus, four-sided — past-participle of square. Nineveh color refers to an Assyrian-court purpura-bordered tribute textile in the Library of Ashurbanipal: a saturated, slightly cool deep violet with the matte finish of multi-bath shellfish dye on hand-loomed Mesopotamian wool.
