Centered Karashi
Centered Karashi (#DC6309) is a true orange with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. The Japanese word for prepared mustard — a sharper, more horseradish-leaning mustard than its Western counterpart, served as a condiment with natto and oden. The color refers to fresh karashi paste on a small dish: a saturated, slightly muted yellow-orange with the dusty finish of mustard-seed powder. Warmer than mustard, drier than turmeric.
