Manorial Apse Hibiscus

Latin manōrium, dwelling — adjectival suffix -al, derived from manēre (to remain). As a color modifier, manorial implies a saturated-and-aristocratic-and-rural quality, the deep-rich color of pre-modern English manor-house livery-and-tapestry tradition.
