Victorious Lintel Crimson

Latin victōriōsus, of victory — derived from victor (winner). As a color modifier, victorious implies a saturated-and-celebratory-and-conquering quality, the deep-rich color of Roman-Imperial victory-procession purpura-dyed paludamentum cloak.
