Etymology
From the Greek elektron, amber — the substance whose static-electric properties were observed by Thales of Miletus. Tatra color refers to a Soldanella alpina corolla on a High Tatras alpine ledge: a saturated, slightly cool deep violet with the velvet finish of fresh alpine snowbell petal under high-altitude light.
