Honest Yomogi (#ACDB83) is a true lime with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Etymology
Latin honestus, honorable — used as a color modifier since the seventeenth century for hues that read as straightforward and unembellished, the working browns and grays of vernacular architecture rather than the polished shades of court fashion. Artemisia indica, Japanese mugwort — used in yomogi-mochi (mugwort rice cakes) and as a traditional moxibustion herb. Yomogi-iro refers to the slightly muted yellow-green of fresh mugwort leaves: a soft, slightly muted yellow-green with the matte finish of pubescent leaf surface. Drier than wakaba.
