Composed Russet (#A43E05) is a deep orange with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Etymology
The past participle of compose, to arrange together — used as a color modifier for hues that read as deliberate and balanced. From the Old French rousset, reddish-brown. A medieval term for the coarse, undyed wool of peasant cloth — the natural red-brown of the local fleece.
