Holographic Comfrey (#A3C950) is a true lime with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Quiet and dependable, a fit for product UI and data visualization. Its HSL profile (79°, 53%, 55%) places it in the balanced band at a mid lightness. Greek hólos (whole) and graphé (writing) — adjectival suffix -ic. Sits at the bright-and-shifting end of the grid, parallel to iridescent and prismatic in usage.
Symphytum officinale, the European medicinal plant whose green leaves and root were used in traditional European bone-setting and wound treatment — also known as boneset or knitbone. Comfrey color refers to fresh comfrey leaves on a hedge bank: a soft, slightly muted gray-green with the matte finish of pubescent leaf surface. Cooler than nettle.
