Warm Strelitzia (#8E3A01) is a deep orange with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Etymology
Old English wearm, of moderate heat — used as a color modifier since the medieval period for hues that read as containing red, orange, or yellow undertones. Strelitzia reginae, the South African bird-of-paradise plant — named for Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, consort of George III. Pollinated by sunbirds.
