Centered Karashi
Centered Karashi (#8D2E09) is a deep orange with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. The Japanese word for prepared mustard — a sharper, more horseradish-leaning mustard than its Western counterpart, served as a condiment with natto and oden. The color refers to fresh karashi paste on a small dish: a saturated, slightly muted yellow-orange with the dusty finish of mustard-seed powder. Warmer than mustard, drier than turmeric.
