Resolute Jīnhuáng (#8C9707) is a deep yellow with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. From the Latin resolutus, unwavering — used as a color modifier in literary contexts for hues that read as committed and unmoving. The color refers to jīnhuáng-glazed Yongzheng-period porcelain: a saturated, slightly cool deep gold-yellow with the high gloss of fired glaze.
