Symmetrical Ammolite (#80ECC6) is a soft teal with a cool character. It leans cool, sitting on the blue, green, and violet side of the wheel. Greek symmetría, due-proportion — adjectival suffix -al, derived from sym-metron (with-measure). The fossilized iridescent shell of Placenticeras ammonites — mined principally from the Bearpaw Formation in southern Alberta, Canada. The color refers to a polished ammolite cabochon: a saturated, slightly cool deep blue-green with the iridescent satin finish of structurally colored ancient nacre.
