Organized Kuchinashi
Organized Kuchinashi (#792D03) is a deep orange with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Greek órganon, instrument / tool — past-participle of organize. As a color modifier, organized implies a clear-and-coordinated-and-systematic quality where the hue carries the visual register of well-coordinated-and-classified arrangement. Gardenia jasminoides — the gardenia plant, whose dried fruit yields a yellow-orange dye used in Japanese textile and food coloring (yellow rice, pickled radish). Kuchinashi-iro refers to a soft, slightly muted gold-orange. The color is kuchinashi-dyed silk: a warm, slightly muted yellow-orange with the matte finish of plant-derived pigment.
