Buttressed Goldenchain (#688D03) is a deep lime with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Old French bouterez, thrusting-mass — past-participle of buttress, derived from bouter (to thrust). Sits at the bold-and-fortified end of the grid, parallel to fortified and reinforced.
Laburnum — the small European tree whose pendulous yellow racemes cover the canopy in late spring.
