Kindled Prehnite
Kindled Prehnite (#58AA00) is a deep lime with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (89°, 100%, 33%) places it in the highly saturated band at a dark lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Old Norse kynda, to set on fire — past-participle of kindle. As a color modifier, kindled implies a saturated-and-newly-lit quality, the bright color of autumn-bonfire-and-stove-fire initial-combustion emission. Sits at the bright-and-warm end of the grid, parallel to ignited and aflame in usage.
A calcium-aluminum silicate gem — yellow-green, often translucent, mined principally in Australia, Mali, and Scotland. The color refers to a polished Australian prehnite cabochon: a soft, slightly cool yellow-green with the cloudy translucency of low-grade gem material. Cooler than peridot.
