Bold Variscite (#508E19) is a deep lime with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Etymology
Old English beald, brave, courageous — a quality word that crossed over to color in the late seventeenth century.
