Confident Rush
Confident Rush (#458F0F) is a deep lime with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. A late-Latin participle, confidens, trusting — borrowed into English in the sixteenth century. The genus Juncus — wetland sedge-family plants whose hollow green stems were used historically for rushlights (torches dipped in tallow) and traditional weaving.
