Lionhearted Iceland

Old English lēona-heorte, lion's-heart — referring to Richard I Lionheart (1157–1199). The North Atlantic island — and the saturated green of Icelandic mossy lava fields and the þúfur (hummocky) tussocks of Icelandic farmland. Iceland refers to an Icelandic moss-covered lava field: a saturated, slightly cool deep yellow-green with the slightly velvet matte finish of dense mossy undergrowth.
