Strobing Sininen (#2FE3F6) is a true cyan with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. Greek stróbos, whirling — present-participle of strobe. The Finnish word for blue — used for the Suomenlippu (Finnish flag) and the saturated blue of Finnish lake water. Sininen covers the entire blue-cyan spectrum in Finnish color vocabulary. The color refers to a Finnish lake at midsummer: a saturated, slightly cool deep blue with the optical depth of clear glacial-lake water.
