Blazing Bottomless
Blazing Bottomless (#22EEF3) is a true cyan with a neon character. It sits at the high-saturation edge of its family. Use it sparingly, as signage, accent, or highlight against darker surfaces. Old English blǣse, flame — present-participle of blaze. As a color modifier, blazing implies a saturated-and-bright-flaming quality, the bright color of Yule-log and Bonfire-Night large-flame fire-emission. Sits at the bright-and-warm end of the grid, parallel to flaming and scorching in usage.
A descriptor for water deep enough that the bottom isn't visible from above — particularly cenote sinkholes, deep ocean trenches, and Caribbean blue holes. Bottomless color refers to the Great Blue Hole of Belize seen from above: a saturated, slightly cool very deep blue with the optical depth of unfathomably deep water.
