Aboriginal Hornblende
Aboriginal Hornblende (#170223) is a deep indigo with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Hornblende color refers to a freshly cleaved Adirondack hornblende prismatic-cluster face: a saturated, slightly cool deep black with the glassy finish of monoclinic-system iron-magnesium-aluminum-amphibole. The German name Hornblende is 16th-century Saxon mining vocabulary.
