Sonorous Akhdar (#078748) is a deep teal with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Latin sonōrus, resounding — derived from sonus (sound). The Arabic word for green — used for the deep green of the Khidr (the Green One) in Islamic mysticism, the green domes of mosques, and the Jabal al-Akhdar (Green Mountain) of Oman.
