Replete Congo
Replete Congo (#01AC02) is a deep green with a jewel character. It carries the deep, saturated richness of a gemstone. Authoritative and slightly formal, it works well for type and heavy UI elements. Its HSL profile (120°, 99%, 34%) places it in the highly saturated band at a dark lightness. Best used in small doses, like logos, CTAs, focus rings, or highlight text, where its saturation becomes a feature rather than noise. Latin replētus, filled — past-participle of replēre. As a color modifier, replete implies a saturated-and-fully-pigmented quality where the hue is completely loaded with its source pigment. Sits at the bold-and-saturated end of the grid, parallel to brimming and suffused in usage.
The central African river and basin — and the saturated deep green of Congo Basin rainforest, the world's second-largest tropical-rainforest system after the Amazon. Congo refers to a Congo Basin canopy in the wet season: a saturated, slightly cool deep green with the matte finish of equatorial-rainforest foliage.
